Thank you...I have heard from Ren...My client chose alternate talent for the Mag cover however because Ren is so marketable I have recomended Ren for a role in a pilot and I am further recomending that he speak with a SAG franchised agent in LA who is also a colleauge of mine...Ren has great interest in day time soap and then some...the LA agent is a great resource for actors and he reps some well known actors...I hope Ren goes far. Thanks for the cooperation.

Hey! This is Robert! Just want everyone to know that I am safely in Canada. I want to thank Di for submitting my picture to Paramount. If she had not seen the casting call and thought I looked like Freddie, I would not be here! Tomorrow is my first day on the set! I will come back here and keep you all up to date to let you know how it goes and what the Directors say! I'm really nervous, but I hope it goes well. So far Canada is fun though.

ANNOUNCMENT from DI
Congratulations to Robert Coulson of San Antonio, Texas who is now in Canada auditioning in front of the Producer and Director of "SPIDERWICK CHRONICLES", a Paramount film. If Robert is chosen he will be cast as the TWIN OF THE LEAD played by Freddie Highmore who stared in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" 2005 with Johnny Depp.
Robert is the son of one of Miahnna's photographers who signed my guest book right below this post. I saw the casting call and submitted Robert as a courtesy. I received an email from Paramount within minutes of submitting Robert. It took me hours to contact Robert's mom with the good news but as you can probably guess, she is happy I submitted her son. Ah hum...Robert is exstatic!
Everyone wish Robert luck. Right now he's on cloud nine and justifiably so.

My daughter, Miahnna is back home from spine surgery. She was on the operating table 7 hours and hospitalised for a week. She's in lots of pain still but the surgery went great.
Please say a prayer for Mi and hope for a speedy recovery.

I am a senior and have been in the business for some time and have worked with lots of directors, casting directors, crew and etc. It was my privilege to be selected by Di to work with her on a commercial. After working with other casting directors, it was a joy to work with a professional who knows how to get things done. Also, the other talent was great to work with and we had all the information we needed to follow her simple directions. What a joy to work with an organized professional.

I have had the opportunity to work with Di and it was the best experience I have ever had during my 7 years in this business. She always has all of the correct information, times, location, wardrobe and also lets you know information about the client and what they expect. She insists on professional behavior at all times and delivers the very best talent to her clients. I can't say that I have ever enjoyed working with someone so much. She is very organized and thourogh. Her enthusiasm for a job well done is evident. She treats the talent and crew with respect and brings out the best in them through constant encouragement. I just hope I have the opportunity to work with her again soon!

It's great to hear you are expanding your horizons and are now a Unit Production Manager. I know you'll do a great job no matter what you do but I hope you start to cast again real soon....Texas just does not have ANY Casting Directors as good as you ... actors have no choice other than to pretend to like Casting Directors but the truth is if we seen them on the street we would avoid most like the plague. I am glad you are REAL and that people don't have to go through that with you Di. You make talent feel very comfortable while auditioning. You have gained many talented actor's respect for not only being so professional but being very REAL as well. Miss being at your auditions...be sure not to forget what it is that you do so well and start casting again real soon.

Hi Di - The pictures of your daughter by Michael Dean are wonderful; she's a beauty & he's a great photog! Sabrina was supposed to have done her makeup, but sadly, it didn't work out. Please let us know if you'll ever be back in Austin for more pictures. Sabrina does acting & modeling, as well as MUA work; perhaps one day she'll get a chance to audition for you...
